The April event will be held at Silverwood Scout campsite, Barnsley on the weekend of 19th - 21st.

At this stage it's just a date for your diaries as booking is not yet available. We will let you know as soon as it is. :-)

Ah good. I have a week to take off before the end of April next year.
Is there any chance of this changing or should I go ahead and book the time off?

It is very unlikely for it to change as we are already booked in with the site!

Epic!!!! Been there for a tarantulas event and it was a great site! Very limited bunk space though

Probably too far North for us Southern monkeys but I'm sure you'll have an ace time.

It's not that much further from the south to Barnsley than it is from the south to Stoke, it's just that it's straight up rather than up and across. London to Leek = 170 miles, London to Barnsley = 175 miles, so not much of a difference.

I know 'south' is a big area and not only London so that won't apply to everyone but it's just an example.

Come up north, it's ace! :-)

Says it all and I also believe the site is quite close to a junction of the M1 so its mostly just 1 road right through.

It's 18 or 26 miles for me, depending on which route I take, that's less than my daily commute to work. :-)

287 for me, about 45 more than Locko...

I think this weekend is probably going to clash with Serenity, or very close to it, so I doubt I'll be there...

If only this forum had a facebook style "like" button :D :D

60 miles for me by the way so quite a close one compared to the 100 I do to either Locko or Willesley and 112 for JLW

You know what I hate about the south :( I haven't found any LARPers in Salisbury yet.
