Bookings are now all updated. If you're not on the list and think you should be just drop me a line at logistics@wolf-faction.com and we'll sort it out.

Four people have started the booking process but not completed it yet, this may be intentional which is fine but if not you can either go back into the system and get to the final button (either the paypal payment if you have something to pay for or the postal confirmation otherwise) or just email me again on logistics@wolf-faction.com and I'll press the magic button to advance the booking. The four people are:
Gregg Wallace
Kelly Barker
Rachel Prince
Mark Southerd

I'm just waiting to see if I can magically afford it. Currently it's not looking positive.

Thats fine, I'll sort the booking out. Unfortunately he'll need to camp as all bunks are currently taken.

All players (except those I have already been in contact with regarding medical reasons) will have to camp as will any bookings of any type made from here onwards.

Also, there are still some unconfirmed bookings on the system, these people will also need to camp when they confirm their bookings.

Not sure why we have 2 threads for this event but I'll post the update on both.

Quote:
Just to update,

We have FOUR player spaces left available for this event. Any bookings beyond that will not be confirmed unless someone else cancels.

Monster places are completely filled (subject to cancellations as above). However if you really want to monster an event on this weekend, I believe the Incantors still have places available for their event..

Not really related to this event (kind of) but what is the current policy for 'respeccing' for small events? thinking of dropping contribute for an extra level of armor.
the policy has changed for main events (costs OSPs to do outside of winter window), but is that still 'OK' for small events? if so how do i modify booking accordingly (got loads of new stuff to add since booking details were for the 'april' event

thanks

That is actually a very good question. I'll check in with the office and try to get a reply asap.

Any changes to bookings, send me an email on logistics@wolf-faction.com

As for respeccing, we have no access to the LT database and therefore have no idea what skills they have stored for you. We have to rely on you to tell us the skills your character has for the event, just as we have to rely on you to count your used "spell cards" for the event. We also have no access to the OSP database so can't deduct any from you for changing your character skills (this policy was designed to reduce the pressure on Games Control at main events anyway). Having said that, I am quite sure that anyone abusing these facts by constantly acquiring and/or losing certain skills on a regular basis depending on their perceived usefulness that weekend will be looked on very dimly indeed.

Don't forget, it is possible to have a ritual circle at a sanctioned event and any ritual performed in such a circle would obviously need contributors.

thanks both

I'd have a valid lt character card to 'back up' OS skills, I understand the point about losing OS permanently if dropping a prerequisite CS, however that would not be the case (its more of a 'minor tweak') as i have no os that require contribute.
I know that respeccing is seen as poor form by some, and i'll probably live if it is now not possible to do it anymore, i was just curious as to what the official line is on this now that the LT has moved to control it at main events. I'm convinced though that it doesn't impact the game that badly, i can see a ritualist dropping a level of ritual magic and take, say, power instead, or swapping a level of body dev for l level of casting, but the character is the same, the abilities are just 'shifting a bit'

imho allowing it for small events provides the opportunity to bring/use/test new kit, or useful skills, or 'test' things before having to commit to a year long investment or 5 OS - from a plot point of view there's little surprise or potential for plotbreaking from common OS, and these are declared prior to the event.
increased CS usefulness = increased enjoyment, so if it's fun why not allow it :) *

* also known as purposive approach to rule lawyering - see section 12 of da Kode with regards to available methods of statutory interpretation to make things go 'da right way'
