I'm stopping posting on this thread before MI5 puts it under surveillance

This remind me of the time when i was killing time in Dublin Airport's boarding area and thought it be a great idea to check out the "how to make weapons that pass weapons check" thread on this very forum. Very very bad idea

The more events there are in the year, the better methinks. Saves me having to go airsofting in the time off inbetween XD

As for where...as long as Adrian can pick us up (or I can drive by then...) I don't mind. Just don't come to Yeovil. It's hideous XD
Saying that...Ham Hill could be an interesting place to hold an event...but I doubt it would be allowed. There isn't THAT much there anyways so O_o'

I scoped Ham Hill years ago, there's an iron age hill fort, complete with defensive ditches, a labyrinthe of ancient quarrying, a woodland area and a ring of standing stones erected in 2000 that could be used as a ritual circle.

No catering facilities or showers though, and not enough loos....

Hmmm, the ways that innocent threads can suddenly become terrorist threats XD

As for Ham Hill...there's nowhere near enough facilities. It could be good for like, a 2 day event maybe. Unless facilities are brought on site, but I dunno what they'd have to say about it.
Would be wicked fun though :)

And then there's always the old favourites of Willesley, Barnswood, Kibblestone, John Lee, Robin Hood etc. Kibblestone really is a trek for everyone who doesn't live in Cardiff.

I'm always up for sanctioned events!

Midlands is best for me, or noth wales but the later is probably not suitable anyone but me.
if its too far south, the chances ofmaking to play or monster are far far less.

I'm definitely up for a july event (I need all the blue gold I can get), was disappointed there was only one this year.

Ham Hill is at Stoke Sub Hamden, just outside Yeovil in Somerset.

And every one of those sites is a helluva trek for anyone who lives in Devon or Cornwall.... Price of living in paradise :(

Having experienced keen for the first time at the weekend, I'd mortgage my soul to go to an extra event in July.

Start of July, yeah. Any later than that and it interferes badly with August plans for me.

So, I think we can all smell the keen coming from Aidie (ktoch), Ben (Drystan) and Mike, with that and the smell from the chip fat with leftover dynamite ingredients from Andrew (Teigh) is this safe???

Will await health and safety risk assessment before we can commit.

May not be able to attend as most sanctioned events are really adults only, aren't they?

Health and Safety reply: You are the Wolves, you tell us.

severity of injury 5
chances of injury 3
standard risk rating 15

faction ajustment (because the wolves are amazing) -10
final risk rating 5

see it's mostly safe

I'd be up for a July event... n i think that most of throsgaard would be too :/ (personal opinion tho, not too sure)

Too much keen inbetween the GEF n the moot... it needs an outlet, somewhere other than having a practice every week in summer lol
