Hello everyone,

This is a last call for player or monster booking for Ice & Fire before the closing date (3rd April), so if you haven't booked and you wanna come and join the fun better make it sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

We still have player and monster places left so what're you waiting for?

Cheers,
Daz

You should email logistics@wolf-faction.com (or otherwise contact Malc at his discretion) to make such arrangements.
Malc likes Old Speckled Hen by the way....

I believe that the event team should be proud of this weekend's event.

Personally I had a lot of fun. There was a reasonable pace all weekend and the monster crew deserve extra cookies for the sheer persistence with what was at times wave after wave of monsters who were beaten down.

Loved the ventures into the "mines", it was a very different environment to fight in. :)

I would also like to say I thought the team did a great job, really enjoyed the event, particularly the rites and that amulet.

I'm pretty sure I can speak for the Bardcore boys and girls when I say thank you to everyone involved - we were made to feel really welcome both IC and OOC and had a real blinder as a result.

I'd just like to thank everyone for all their hard work. My monsters were fab, had unlimited keen and to have 14 monsters still up and ready to go at 1.40am is a new experience for me! Friday night whizzed by and I had loads of fun.

Big thanks to the NPCs, refs, plot team, Emma, caterers and Daz - who worked his little socks off. :)

For those who don't know, this was the first time I've run the plot-line for an event in which case I think I'm allowed to namecheck a few people for special thanks so I will.

Jan, our monster-room mum. Thank you for keeping things running superbly well and also keeping me up to speed on developments. Without you we wouldn't have had the excellent turnaround on encounters.

Emma, our SO, who was there as a sanity check, especially on Friday night when I kept checking that she was happy with what I was doing.

Thanks to James W, Caz and Andy (get well soon), our NPCs, for doing sterling work 'front of house', especially Caz who had to step up on Sunday and lead the faction single-handed after James jetted off to Boston and Andy had had his arguement with a small hill and come of slightly worse. I know it is a tough job, especially when you've got some pesky event-plot man in your ear every five minutes, but she carried it off with aplomb!

Thanks to DM, Malc, Chidgey, James M, Matt, Kylie and anyone else who donned yellow for us this weekend, whether as a ref or first aid.

Thanks to the Caterers for the grub.

And thanks to the players, you lot, you bunch of nutters, for interacting with the plot, getting out there and getting stuck it! You're all marvellous and I can't wit to see you all very soon.

If I've forgotten anyone, I'm sorry, it's not on purpose. I appreciate everything that has been done on the event by all involved.

Finally, if you enjoyed the event, tell others... if you didin't, tell us! We only get better when people tell us what works and what doesn't, feedback is key and if you like more of the same, just say and we'll do it all again next time around.

Thanks all, peace, out!

Daz

The event was ace, never had a dull moment from beginning to end
The plot was rich, challenging and accessible
The monsters were good sport in fights and great in talkies,
There was attention to detail, with maps for those who can make them, tracks for those who can follow them, and herbs for those who can find them (The herb lore sheet in itself was a good enough reason to take herb lore).
Thanks to all organizers, looking forward to October for more awesomeness.
