Just to advise y'all that booking for this event is now open at

info_ooc_showevent.php?&event=20

It's set at Kibblestone (the place with all the nice bunks for Monsters *AND* many Players)

Roll up, roll up, get 'em while it's hot!

I'm definately coming along. Only question I have - is there any possibility of a 50/50 split with monstering duties?
I don't fancy spending the entire 3 days monstering, I'd like a little in-character mingling time, but I enjoy a fair amount of it (a day or more would be cool), and I have trouble digging £35 up (yeah, I know it's not much, but times are really hard.).
(ps. I don't need a bunk, food etc)
(pps. Failing this, which I know is a long shot, I'll just come as a character)

I think I'll be coming to that once my wages come through, although I too have a question if we went to the event in April time (the Loki Ancestral Bubble) do we get the discount for this event?

Yes.
The flyer has more detail than the web page and lists both the April and July events as counting.
But only once in total! :-P

Monsters can usual get a short time as their character, at time(s) convinient to the event's schedule of dea... intended roleplay!

There is no charge for monster bunks but you can camp if you prefer.

I can't actually see the flyer, as it is formatted in Office, which I don't have and can't afford. :(

Openoffice.org should be able to open it which is free and every bit as good as Micro$oft (or perhaps better) but here it is in pdf variant anyway.

Talking of first aid, happy again to first aid as required. :D hopefully the kit will stay buried in my tent the whole weekend.

You probably won't need a tent unless you REALLY prefer to camp. The first aid kit should also probably be at Games control (unless its your own kit of course).

I've booked as a monster but it wanted me to pay £35 as well :S
Can someone check to see if I'm actually booked in or not as I don't appear on the list of people who have booked.
Thanks
Oli

That's because it doesn't expect monsters to be paying.
If you don't need to send money, don't try.

You don't appear on the event page until you have been manually processed (oo err!)

(With the Extras that have been added there is now a case when non-players might want to send money. This feature will not appear for this booking session)

I think I got to that just before you posted, but you're definitely on now. Database has the update at 12:09 :D :D

But yes, each booking needs to be manually checked and then confirmed before it will appear on the booking list.

Couple of odd issues. Been trying to book online, and pay online as well, for both me and Wendy. Now, however, the booking screen keeps showing the section for sending a cheque rather than the link for paypal, and I can;t get it back to that.

Probably my fault. I saw the bookings arrive so briefly checked them and accepted them (which cuts off the Paypal payment). I will return them to unbooked where you can edit them and make online payment, or you can send it direct to payments@wolf-faction.com which has the added benefit of avoiding the Paypal surcharge :D

I guess it is possible to be too efficient

As in just set it as cheque and then send it direct from paypal to that recipient rather than going through the interface?
