As a 'thank you' from the NPC's to all Wolf players for supporting us and the faction we intend to hold an OOC party at Bugmans' Bar Nottingham on 19th February 2005.

We'll be providing food of some description but, unfortunately, you'll have to buy your own drinks!! :D

I am pretty sure it will be an over 18's occasion as Bugmans is a bar but I will double check and let you know.

There will be no plot as it is purely a social event for people to eat, drink, chill and be merry. I have to admit from my point of view - it will be lovely to just sit and chat to people I don't usually get chance to at events. :)

Chalkie has already offered to bring his guitar along and Gary is sorting out the 'Odin's awards' so should be a good night!

In answer to the inevitable question - the 'Odin's' are statuettes awarded to people for being the best (or worst!) at something! for example - the award for the most heroic death, the most characters lost in a year - that sort of thing! Should be very funny!! :D

This party is for Wolf faction members, however we appreciate that some of you have other halves who aren't Wolves or even role players who you might want to bring along. They are welcome to come but we will charge them a fiver as a contribution towards food costs. (though if they're not role players - best warn them that the conversation might be rather role play heavy!!)

At this stage we're going to have to limit each Wolf faction member to bringing along one non Wolf until we have a better idea of numbers who will be attending.

If you could vote on the poll please it would be a help.

Cheers

Jan

Ps - I know Valentine's day is the Monday of that week - but I'm going on the principle that anyone who wants to be with their other halves for a romantic night will probably chose the weekend nearest the actual day - which is the weekend before!

I'll be bringing my guitar (who I reckon counts as a Wolf). What would be really cool would be to get all the people together that can play instruments but tend not to at events. I know there are a lot more musicians in the faction than just the bards, and it'd be cool to have a big shiny jam session.

I'll let my better half know of the date so she can keep her calendar free and she can meet all the loons I spend weekends with. :P

Should be a laugh. I don't play an instrument, but I'll bring my voice... I can also bring jam!

My PRS has too much paraphalia, but I might drag my £5 baby, or blag some other wooden box device.

Ive been in Bugmans a fair number of times but never had the chance to drink more than a dram or two, so should be cool.

Dwarven style bar. Good food (The Fat Bloke is an awsome burger). Beer not too much.

As said flower, every Wolf can attend free of charge. Every Wolf can only bring one non Wolf at the moment, costing a fiver, until I have a better idea of numbers.

On another note - there already appears to be the misinformation out there that the event is IC with no plot. Can I reiterate this event is definitely an OUT OF CHARACTER event.

So there will be no plot as it's a party. So please don't turn up in kit (unless you want to of course) expecting an IC event as it's not going to happen!! :D

I'm coming as my weekday LARP character, from the "Real Life" system; a geek called "Steve", if that's okay

Excellent! Another reasonn to get out of this place for a weekend! :D Count me in!
:D

Plus, unless my memory is playing immense tricks on me, doesn't Nottingham have several shops that sell LARP equipment. I can see a bit of a shopping trip here. :)

We do indeed, and all the animals sing!

I can put up anywhere up to half a dozen folks at my house, which is two minutes from the bar.

What?...stop mocking me...yes I live two minutes from work...I'm lazy

*sigh*

The Tom and Vikki hotel will be taking bookings.

Drop me a PM if you need crash space, i'll try and farm people out on nearby larpers if possible.

There are quite a few of us slackers who work here.
