Just thought id let people know ( and i know its kind of late but i havent seen anyone asking for this), that the Uvaevelv seem to have become organised, to a fashion, and will be bringing a tarp with them this year for the Gathering. Its 10m x 6m

I spoke with the Raggers not too long ago and we said if it is possible for us to be camped next to them (Tarp wise)

Can someone please confirm if this is ok so when we get there thurs we know approx where we can put the tarp up

Ta and cant wait to see you all

Leon

Good point Leon. Can everyone (unless you've already told us) say what IC tentage they're bringing.

I think we're roughly assuming that it's similar to last year. That right Oh 'Rich of the set up'? :D

We are expecting roughly what showed up last year. Some groups have already let us know any changes, but if you are planning on bringing something that will require space that wasn't around last year can you let us know on this thread. Preferably by tomorrow night as I leave for site on Wednesday morning.

any one have any idea where the wolves position in the camping area is? haven't pre-booked so have no idea what to expect and we are bringing a trailer so position is important to what we pack.

cheers

james

OK we are on Harts Hill, if that doesnt help, imagine you are looking down into the market place through the main gate that most people use we are in the camp immediately to the right of the gate as you look down into the marketplace

Hi all

There will be approximately 14-16 Shian this year so thats alot of tents....

There will probably be about 10 personal tents, Burgess Masions and our IC tent which is two gazebo's (or 1 scout tent if weather isn't kind)

Still can't picture where we are though, even with your description Waz!

Oh, and just so you know.... there will be no dreyfus baiting this time as no cake is coming!!!

On behalf of Glenn, am posting that the NDM are bringing an IC tent, I believe its the dome thing from last year. However, having not been there last yes  I don't know the exact specifics of its size. Will try and get Glenn to confirm via website sometime today.

OK Imagine standing in the main gateway between the camping field and the market palce field......

Looking AWAY from market place you have toilet blocks usually on your left... a stand pipe on your right.

Main road through Locko off to your right.

We are the first camp on the left if you are looking away from Market Place where the Huge sycamore tree is halfway up the slope.

Or better still where we were at the heartland games and 1 camp down from where we were at Moots...

Let's all have a go! :D

From the checkin desk, drive down the road to the junction,
turn right through the middle gate with the cattle grid,
after a ?100 feet turn right into the field (next to portaloos and a skip and a tap)
The Wolf camp is now on your left.

Well you're the navigator, you ought to know where the hell we are!!!

Ahh, my turn!!!

Looking up from the market place, head up the hill, through the gate, past the toilets that smell of tinkle, turn immediate left, do not pass GO, do not collect 200 stell!

Emergency exits are located here, here and here, and in the event of an emergency, the cabin crew will direct you. Please note the life-jacket is located under your seat and, in the event of a landing in the water, your seat cushion can be used as a floatation device.

We thank you for flying Loony-Toon-Airways and hope you have a pleasant trip.

And... just to ask, has anyone been to Hawaii before? You have sir? Great... it's a sort of kidney-shaped island isn't it?

thank you for the wonderful descriptions of where we are camping

just to clarify.

if you come in through locko parks main gate and turn off through the strawberry fields up to the car park, and then drive straight through all the other factions areas until you reach the small bridge, then drive through the market place (preferable after time in) until you reach the road near the cattle grid, then turn left up the road until you get to 'check in'. Then turn left onto the camping fields making sure to run down as many vipers as possible head back towards the market place and the wolves are camped nearest the gate on the right!

am i close?
