SW6 "28 Months After" will be at Gunman Midlands on the 21st-22nd of November.

Quote:
Continuing on from the events of SW2 "28 Weeks After" the Infection has spread across East Anglia. The whole of the UK East Cambridge has been walled off and is now referred to as The Zone.

Everyone knows something terrible happened but the corporations have suppressed all information about the nature of the infection.

Now several corporations want to extract secrets left behind in the rush to escape The Zone.

Shadow Wars is a post apocalyptic combination or LARP and Airsoft set in the near future. It is run by former and current Tarantula NPCs. As a system it is going from strength to strength with more people coming to every new event. I have played two of these events now and loved both of them and would encourage people to come along. No experience of Airsoft is necessary and kit is available for hire.

Everything you need to know about the system can be found on the links below.

Give it a go. Feel free to post any questions.

This looks good! Having trouble downloading the rulebook right now, probably my internet connection again...

What sort of weapons? Airsoft, I know, (been looking on the Wolf Armouries site for a couple of years now, itching to get one) but are there any restrictions on what type of weapon? As in handguns, assault rifles etc...

And what are the regs on eye protection/safety gear etc?

Hi

You can mostly have any weapons you like from pistols to support weapons (and yes we do have a player with a support weapon :D ) as long as they meet safety regs. I believe they have to be no greater than 360 fps but log on to the webiste and mention this advert and they will be able to confirm any questions.

Safety goggles MUST be worn at all times during the gaming area unless in a specified safe zone. Safety is the number one priority of the system organisers and they do a safety briefing at the start of each event.

Correct, you will get attendance stamps for attending this event that go towards this as well.

There are now only 7 player places left. At this rate THERE WILL BE NO PLAY ON THE GATE OPTION.

The team are also still looking for monsters. From experience monstering SW is just as much fun as playing (if not more). If you fancy giving this system a try for the first time and want to save on cash; or if you simply feel like coming along for the crack then sign up. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. And remember this event is a zombie mosh so is likely to be a lot of fun.

Please note that if you are planning to hire kit for the weekend to get in touch with the organisers in advance to ensure they can accommodate you.

Cheers

Chris
