Spare a thought as we enjoy warm living rooms, home cooked food and appalling football from the national side (if you’re English) for those who braved the field for the maelstrom event…

Hopefully the serious weather fronts are just avoiding them, the tents are still up and in tact and no one is utterly soaked with no dry clothes…

It's been suggested that we actually got the better deal of the weather than other places??

It may have rained.. I may have been knee deep in mud... but I still managed a weekend in long dresses with panniers! OK.. so there were wellies and mud spattered trousers underneath.. let's call it the new fashion. :D

Wow did the hot bath I had last night feel good... now I just need to put the mud I brought home in the washing machine and hope clean socks appear.

Having said that.. in spite of the mud and rain.. the event was still brilliant. :D
