 Post subject: medium armour question

Hi guys

I'm a litte confused.

If you have the CS skill medium armour, can you wear heavy and only count it as medium, or are you not allowed to wear it.

I.e. if i buy a metal helm, does it count as medium, or does it have to be made of leather (of decent quality as per the rules).

Armour worn as costume, without the appropriate skill, offers no protection to your character but still restricts casting spells as normal.so I'd say heavy if you only have the medium armour CS your heavy helm would count as costume and get 0 AV, and you couldnt cast spells on top of that (ranged and mass).

Some armour could go either way, in way case consistency is king.

If it is entirely metal or thick leather it is absolutely heavy.
