The game of Braggi will be changing this year, instead of coming along with your most powerful bardic weapons pre made you will be given random Skald Cards.

From these cards you must come up with a suitable tale or song within the alloted time, you don't need to use all the cards in your possession but you will be awarded more glory (points) the more cards you use.
This way it makes the game more rounded so those who can sing but cant write must work more etc....

Also there will be a number of scenarios/puzzles/command tasks going on which will be a team game, these trasks will test you more completely than any one competion but will not be too physically taxing, they just require a bit of savvy :D ...more info to follow.

Hmmm, the game of braggi sounds fun, I might give it a go, however I would tell a tale, not sing it, for I will make you all deaf.
I am good at puzzles and will hopefully be a great help to the team with that~

You can sing a heart felt song or weave a stiring tale, its totaly up to the individual, however the content isn't.

Just out or curiosity. Should we come dressed up, or kitted for battle?

The hunting is a dangerous sport in this area, you will need your war gear if you wish to participate.

There will be times during the weekend where you would do well to don your battle dress but there are also a few occasions to dress more casually. This will not be a fancy event like the Throsgaard Masked ball and is more combat orientated.
Friday will consist of the Openning ceremony (openning speech-but not nearly as lengthy as the Throsgaard Masked balls Shar speech  ) with various blessings to the ancestors and Fenris, next will be the Signing up where you put your name(s) down for the various games. The only game on friday will be Fenris Dice (you are required to drink-non drinkers need not apply sorry  ), the rest of Friday night will consist of DRINKING and socialising.

The main games will start on saturday, probably at midday (TBC), and will take the entire day and most of the night. The feast will start Saturday Night.

Sunday will see the finals of the Games and the Victors Ceremony.

Right now this is a rough structure of events and are subject to change by the powers that be.

FOR FENRIS!!!!!

The Game of Fenris Dice

Fenris Dice is a game of tactics, cunning and blind luck....oh and a shed load of drinking (in truest of Fenris Tradition).
The Game sees you roll 5 Fenris dice in an effort to form up your unit into various sections/formations in order to out smart your opponents and destroy them and get them drunk or yourself drunk. The game has two types of rules "Take no prisoners!" and "Take the spoils!", "Take no Prisoners!" sees the ULTIMATE LOSER drink all the shots on the table and there are more in play compared to "Take the spoils!" which sees the ULTIMATE VICTOR decide who drinks the shots.

The Tournament will start with all the contestants being split down into groups of four, these groups will then take it in turns to play Fenris Dice. The top two players from each group will go forward to the next round. In a game of take no prisoners the ULTIMATE LOSER will be removed from the game and will take no further part, in a game of take the spoils the ULTIMATE VICTOR leaves the game and proceeds to the next round. This way a maximum of three rounds of Fenris Dice can be played per group. Victors names will be randomly sorted in to groups of 4 and games will be played until only 4 players remain, at which point "Take no prisoners!" will be in constant effect until only one player is crowned Fenris Dice champion.

The Prize for winning is a set of 5 Fenris Dice and a Fenris Dice shot glass.

This is the order of Fenris! Armour is a must and weapons. Unlike the Throssgaard that have laws about always carrying a weapon (then they take the weapons off of you so you are forced to break there own law, its true chaos at work) it's common sense to carry a weapon, Fenris has his teeth we have our swords, shields and axes.

reptillian jungle creatures are particularly invited, especially for the hunt( drink goes without saying) the last time the night time hunters fell into an ambush /trap and got wiped out by red section. who were the prey.

(OOC not sanctioned so its for fun)

Its a testing hunt, to be enjoyed by all.

As well as the hunt, for you war types, teams are randomly selected for the flag game. The flag game is for Ninjas, its like long range jugga with unlimited weapons/shields/bows. the daytime woodland competition. or the night time single weapon special.

The rules are simple, the pace is all action,Anders and Bakka have the full rules, which will remain a secret until the event.

Only true Norse warriors(no magic) need apply. One hit head or torso to take out the enemy. Persons not taking hits will be thrown down the well(only kidding even though they will deserve it)

There is also the fire pit ampetheatre, its got nothing to do with this game but its nice for a sing song :D

Is the night time hunt in teams or are we on our own for it?

Should you sign up for the team puzzle game (yet to be officially named) you will need to be in a group of 4-6 victims eh! hem! players (these teams could be the same teams for the hunt TBC).
Throughout the weekend your team will be called forth to enter the puzzle arena (yet to be officially named) where your team will face a random challenge, points will be mainly awarded or deducted for the completion and how many survive that puzzle. For each puzzle a team begins with 5 points with 1 point awarded for completion within a set time or 1 point deducted for going over a set time, each team member loss will see a 1 point deduction per loss. should a team fail to complete a task they will have all points deducted. 0 points is the minimum but there is no maximum. After the task the puzzle ref may give the team extra points for heroic efforts or deduct points for wholly vile deeds.

The Puzzles will begin easy then will raise in difficulty.
