Uploaded my first book onto Amazon and, in theory assuming they don't toss it out for unknown and unforeseen reasoning, it should be available for sale 12 hours from now (about 10:30 on Saturday December the 3rd).

"Being an avid fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s chronicles of the great Sherlock Holmes and of being involved in some small adventures of interest myself, I have endeavoured to record the following events."

Fine Tales of Unusual Occurrence are the recollections of an inventor in Steam Punk Victorian England who has been engaged in a set of darkly fantastical adventures with a group of stalwart friends; his drunken patron the Lady Elizabeth Harrington; the retired Major Timothy Hamiliton; the Ghurkha priest known only as 'Thomas'; and the mysterious and enigmatic socialite Francis Farnworthy.
Can the fledgling science of forensics provide the key to the solution or is there really such a thing as magic in Queen Victoria's England? Armed with his notebook, Sherlock Holmes' deductive reasoning and an umbrella, Dr Ellington Webb sets out onto dark and dangerous London streets.

Well I've got my copy, popped up the post on a few forums I frequent... shared it via Facebook (twice, once private and once public... cause FB is being Bjorkey again) and am looking forward to beginning the big read ;o)

Currently sold twenty copies now and had a lot of positive feedback so far although no one seems brave enough to jot down a review for Amazon. Hoping to use the sales figures to convince a publisher or literary agent to give it a go and get hardcopies for sale.

You can preview the first several pages (unsure how much) if you want to see if you'll like it prior to purchase and am hoping to put up a free version of the first chapter as a complimentary thing around the Christmas period whilst I am not in work.

Many of you have heard Kendrick's stories around the campfire and read them on here, trust me, these ones are better!

If you haven't already picked up a copy, follow the link and read the review. It might just change your mind.

You don't need one, my friend.

You can get a kindle reader program for PCs and Macs. As well as most smartphones, iPad, iPhones etc as Dargathi mentioned above.

Now up to two smashingly good reviews on Amazon and 27 books sold, which for word of mouth and facebook is not so bad! I am also working on a D20 version 3.5 conversion rulebook for it as I believe that is now an open source system and the novel originally came from a roleplay game.

Forgive the continual updates here but I'm still get quite excited about the whole affair and all publicity helps I'm sure!

Interestingly sales have now started creeping up on both American and Spanish markets (Amazon.es and .com) admittedly only one a piece at present but hopefully this will begin to grow. I wonder if this means I can call myself an international author?

For those of you who read, and hopefully enjoyed this, I have some news.

The esteemed Dr Ellington Webb and his friends; the Lady Elizabeth Harrington, Major Timothy Hamilton and Thomas the Ghurkha will be returning in Another Fine Tale of Unusual Occurrence! The further adventures of British bravery and Sheffield steel against the Eldritch monsters of myth as our vaguely intrepid young Inventor investigates the horrors of murder, mysteries, monsters and dating.

In december I will be releasing Fine Tales (second edition) in conjunction with the release of book two, Another Fine Tale of Unusual Occurrence : Diary of a Technomancer.

Another Fine Tale of Unusual Occurrence is available here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00AHJN85S

If you enjoyed the first book you are more than likely to continue to enjoy Ellington's further adventures. If you missed out the first time but enough listening to kendrick's stories, get both!

The Major Timothy Hamilton finds himself called back into the Armed Forces facing a daring mission to cut off Hun supply lines leading Allied troops across a murky marsh called the Somme.
