We use a web forum called phpBB as the base for our website.
Currently we are using "version 2"
but as things go this is now "old" and tphpBB have recently released a new shiney "version3", which is indeed much more lovely.

The Wolf website, with all the extra bits (including a lot thast many of you don't see, cos its for plot and event managment and admin and stuff) adds "about a third to a quarter more software" and so the adaption of phpBB3 to Our Will has been ongoing.
It's muchly done now, although the new stuff won't be put in use until it's checked more, and isn't too near an event, cos that would make it go horribly wrong. It woudd, software knows. computers are evil.

Anyway, after all that, to my point.

I'm after some Graphics Designers to create some certain bits of nice graphic. I can do a bit with PhotoShop but on my own it comes out as crayon mess. I r code munki.

If there are any folk out their with time and talent, I'd be interested in hearing from you. PM me and I'll send you the super secret URL of the dev site.

I've been tinkering with Olympus in my spare time and I'm fairly well versed with it.

I haven't seen any PhPnuke-ish CMS's for 3.0 out yet so I haven't really toyed with them.

I'm fairly handy with ye old photoshop when the mood takes me and I'll be willing to lend a hand.

The main thing I desire at this point are graphics to make the IC forums be noticably different from the OOC forums, but only as far as somethings go.
In pbpBB3 terms I'm talking "imageset" not "templete" or "theme" which restricts the area of change.

Mostly buttons (such as 'profile' and 'pm')

The base style is "subsilver2" which is very similar to the current "subSilver" style.

Actually, after looking briefly at something, I might like the use of a sub-contract code monkey.

We currenlty have a photo album linked in by the "Picture Gallery" link.
There is a new version for phpBB3 at http://www.flying-bits.org/download.php?mod_id=6

What I want to know is how little phpBB3 core code changes are needed to use the new gallery code with a phpBB3 3.0.1 install
AS WE DO NOW
not with all the integration they have added.
And with a subsilver2 style ONLY. No prosilver.

I suspect only loading lytebox as required may need gallery code customising.

I suppose the thing to do is to install just the extra files as see what you have to hack to stop it crashing ! :-)

Tbh, I prefer prosilver base just cause it looks prettier.

I'll look into it.

Y'see, I don't care :D
We'll carry on using subSilver/subsilver2 cos all our mass(*) of custom screens are coded for subSilver2 and I'm not converting them.

Adapting a different Style who be a whooooooole other project!

(* - including the one's most users don't see)
